Northwest Education Alternatives (NEA) provides evidenced based treatment
for individuals with disabilities. We focus on treating individuals on the Autism Spectrum, Attention Deficit Disorder, Behavior
Disorders, and Traumatic Brain Injury. We believe that every individual deserves an effective and efficient treatment program.
We deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) which is a scientifically supported intervention. Every individual receives
a comprehensive evaluation, detailed goals, and a treatment team that is highly trained to deliver the specific treatment
every individual deserves. We believe that the best way to teach is through positive reinforcement, nurturing, and commitment. Director Robbin S. Soles, BA, BCABA Robbin has been working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
and other developmental disabilities for over 15 years. She completed her graduate work in Behavior Analysis
at the University of North Texas, and is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. Robbin has worked for a
variety of agencies in the Northwest that treat young learners with developmental disabilities, and has received extensive
training in Behavior Analysis. She has traveled throughout the United States and Canada as a consultant to families and professionals.
She has developed and implemented training procedures designed to manage effective home-treatment programs. Robbin Sobotka-Soles is the president of A Hope For Autism Foundation and the treasurer for the
Oregon Association of Behavior Analysis. She has established strong relationships with
local schools in her community. Robbin has devoted her career to researching and applying best practice techniques to teaching
learners. She believes that each individual she has the opportunity to work with is a special and unique individual.
She believes that finding the right motivation, and developing a strong relationship with individuals is the key to success. Kristie Robertson, B.A. Kristie
received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University. During her undergraduate career she received training
and supervision from Dr. Tristram Smith in Behavior Analysis. Kristie also worked as a pre-school teacher. She is currently
working with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities in their home and is involved in research that supports
the use of evidenced based practices. She is a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic person whose love and affection for each
of her students is clear. Kristie and Robbin have been working together to develop interesting,
fun, and effective teaching methods for the last 7 years. She is also the secretary for A Hope For Autism Foundation. Instructors & Interns Instructors
